Our Story

A Breeder Who Puts
Her Dogs First

We specialize in healthy breeding practices with the utmost care, producing the most loving, beautiful, rare petite tuxedo Goldendoodles, rare petite mini Goldendoodles, mini Goldendoodles and very rare Ragdolls, all from genetically sound, healthy adults.

After 25 years of breeding and show experience, I have earned a national and international reputation for producing premium-quality, healthy, loving, well-socialized puppies that are adored by their new families. People come back to me saying my dogs are unlike any others, that speaks for itself.

I am also a medical practitioner who has farmed certified-organic for years and practices integrative medicine and homeopathy. I have studied for years with nationally recognized veterinarians, for dogs, cats and farm animals. There are things I do with our puppies and adults that make them incredibly healthy for a long life, that very few breeders nationally are experienced in and I will teach you what to do to continue that, reducing veterinary visits to healthy maintenance.

I am particular about my dogs, especially my stud males, who pass on their quality and dispositions to all their litters. All our dogs are our pets, healthy, sound and loving and they live with us in our home.

Raised in Our Home

We raise only a few litters at a time so every puppy has personalized care and is loved on by us. They are well socialized, calm and adjust easily, they play with interactive toys for physical and mental development and are potty-trained on pads, trays and flap doors to go outside. They are vaccinated, but treated homeopathically to prevent vaccinosis, which otherwise can be passed down generations.

About Choosing Your Puppy

We discuss your wish list, home environment, family members, lifestyle and daily routine to help you select the right puppy. You receive lifetime guidance on set-up, routine, proper diet, healthy food and treats, vaccine schedules and potty training. Every puppy is examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and goes home with a health guarantee, vet health certificate, mother's-scented blanket, toys and some food.

Why a Goldendoodle

Unconditional Love,
Off the Charts

If you have never known unconditional love, a Goldendoodle will be your new experience. They are your best companion, happy to see you every time, always with a smile and a wagging tail. When you have two together, you will smile all day long and find yourself laughing at their play. I consider them a wonderful antidote to loneliness, just be prepared to laugh uncontrollably.

Non-Shedding Coat

Additional poodle breeding increases the percentage of non-shedding hair vs. fur, more "hypo-allergenic," with little to no shedding for allergy-prone families.

Hybrid Vigor

Our hard-to-find F2b, F3b and multi-generational Goldendoodles have very few health issues thanks to hybrid vigor, the enhancement that comes from mixed genetic contribution.

Boundless Affection

Sweet, loving and endlessly playful, they love to snuggle, sit on your lap and be wherever you are. A live teddy bear you simply can't resist hugging.

Meet the Family

Meet the Mothers & Fathers

Each parent is health-tested, home-raised and chosen for temperament, structure and that unmistakable Honeypot sweetness. Our stud males pass their quality and disposition to every litter.

The Mothers
Ellie Mae, cream and light apricot curly mini Goldendoodle dam in Ohio
Ellie Mae Dam
F1BB Mini Goldendoodle, Cream & Light Apricot, 38 lbs, Curly

Named for the golden curls framing her face. Extremely intelligent, sweet, agile and fit, we call her "Ellie Antelope" for leaping our 3-foot fence to raid the garden. This season she was paired with Snickerdoodle, producing rare tuxedos and some very rare Ragdolls in reds, tans and creams. Her puppies learn commands in minutes. This is her last litter or two.

Ginger, deep apricot and cream curly mini Goldendoodle dam in Ohio
Ginger Dam
F2BB Mini Goldendoodle, Deep Apricot & Cream, 40 lbs, Curly

Ellie Mae's daughter, a gorgeous build with beautiful almond eyes (even our vet thinks she's beautiful). Sweet at heart and eager to please; her whole body wiggles to greet you, yet she'll sit still on command. She has her first litter in 2026 and we cannot wait.

Lady, rare red tuxedo ragdoll mini Goldendoodle dam in Ohio
Lady Dam
Multigen Ragdoll, Rare Red Tuxedo, 35 lbs, Medium Wave

A very rare Ragdoll, beyond sweet, my biggest snuggler, who curls up to watch Hallmark movies with me. Bred only to our petite red tuxedo Koda. Her petite puppies are red or frosted tuxedos or reds with white chests and people request them in advance. I kept her two perfectly marked red tuxedo males for stud.

Brandi, red tuxedo small mini Goldendoodle dam in Ohio
Brandi Dam
F2BB Small Mini, Red Tuxedo, 22 lbs, Loose Wave

So gentle in spirit and very sweet. A young mother whose first litter with Koda produced the cutest puppies, each a little different: red tuxedo, frosted tuxedo, cream, red and white-chested, some smooth, some curly. All extremely sweet like Brandi; families took two.

Holly, young red tuxedo mini Goldendoodle dam in Ohio
Holly Dam
F2BB Mini Goldendoodle, Red Tuxedo, low-mid 30s lbs, Smooth

A very young girl, not bred yet. She will be paired with Snickerdoodle or Nicholas, producing wavy and curly-coated puppies.

Topanga, young apricot tuxedo mini Goldendoodle dam in Ohio
Topanga Dam
F2BB Mini Goldendoodle, Apricot Tuxedo, upper 20s lbs, Curly

A very young girl, not bred yet. She will be paired with Snickerdoodle or Nicholas, producing wavy and curly-coated puppies.

The Fathers
Teddy, red tight-waved mini Goldendoodle stud in Ohio
Teddy Sire
F2BB Mini Goldendoodle, Red, 40 lbs, Tight Wave

Teddy looks just like a teddy bear, laid-back but active, quiet and always carrying his toys around. Solid bone structure and so huggable, a perfect blend for sought-after red, tan and cream puppies.

Koda, petite red tuxedo Goldendoodle stud in Ohio
Koda Sire
Multigen Petite, Red Tuxedo, 18 lbs, ~85% Toy Poodle, Curly

Quiet, super cute and super sweet, agile, loves to crawl into your lap and so intelligent he's learned to unlock and open doors. He has a sense of humor and knows it, loving an audience. An amazing stud male producing perfect, adorable puppies in every litter.

Nicholas, rare red tuxedo petite Goldendoodle stud in Ohio
Nicholas Sire
Petite Goldendoodle, Rare Red Tuxedo, 22 lbs, Curly

A very rare, exquisitely marked red tuxedo out of Lady and Koda, perfect in every way. Compact body, short snout and a squared-off head like Koda; he looks like an adorable panda bear. Such a love bug. He will sire Ginger's first litter.

Snickerdoodle, rare ragdoll red tuxedo mini Goldendoodle stud in Ohio
Snickerdoodle Sire
Rare Ragdoll Mini, Red Tuxedo, 34 lbs, Curly

Out of Lady and Koda, their only mini. The sweetest, gentlest marshmallow: very chill, loves to look after and play with the puppies and loves to be with you all the time.

Notes From Our Families

The very best part of what we do is hearing how our puppies settle into their forever homes.

Our new puppy has been an awesome addition to our home. He is so social, loving and warm hearted — he welcomes everyone that comes through the door. We couldn’t be happier or more thankful for your efforts to raise healthy and loving puppies. Thank you!

B BonnieHoneypot Family

Oh, her personality is something! She’s on-the-go, mischievous, and inquisitive — but oh so smart and CUTE! Three weeks today and we are in love and can’t live without her!

Honeypot FamilyNew Puppy Parents

After getting to spend the past few weeks with our new pup Louis, it has truly been life changing and we couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family! Thank you for putting so much love and time into your dogs — it is very evident in their sweet, cuddly, and VERY well behaved demeanors. You were so kind and made the entire process so simple, yet memorable!! It makes my heart so happy that you still reach out to see how he is doing and to make sure we have no questions — that’s how you know you found the perfect breeder! This entire experience has been so special, all thanks to you for making it possible!!

L Louis’s FamilyHoneypot Family

I wanted to take a moment to thank you sincerely for Snowflake. Seeing them through FaceTime truly warmed my heart — it’s evident how much love and care you put into raising them. Your kindness and the nurturing environment you provide shines through in Snowflake’s demeanor. I’m truly grateful for all the effort you’ve put into raising such a wonderful puppy. Your dedication and warmth as a person have made this experience truly special.

S Snowflake’s FamilyHoneypot Family

We just finished our first private puppy training session and the trainer — who had been doing this for 30 years — said that Coco was an exceptionally intelligent and easy to train puppy. We taught her a few commands today and Coco learned them soo quickly! The trainer even asked me which breeder I got her from, and I told them you were the best in the area!!

C Coco’s FamilyHoneypot Family

Wow! Yes, she does look just like her daddy. She is such a good girl — catches onto tricks within a few minutes, loves all dogs, people and kids, and goes to snuggle with me. We are extremely happy with her and love her SO much!

Honeypot FamilyNew Puppy Parents

I may try and get her certified as a therapy dog — the most perfect temperament! And I already know I want a female from her next litter!!

$Reserving & Deposits

Once you've decided a Honeypot petite or mini Goldendoodle is right for you, contact us by phone or text at (614) 382-4068. If we agree you, your family and the puppy are the right fit, your next step is a deposit:

  • $500 deposit (non-refundable) for the rare petite and tuxedo Goldendoodles.
  • $300 deposit (non-refundable) for the mini Goldendoodles.
  • Once payment is received, we reserve the puppy you've agreed upon.
  • Your deposit goes toward the purchase price. You may also reserve a deposit in a future litter.

Before Pickup

Being prepared makes your puppy's transition to their new home smooth. Although there are many good dog foods, we've learned over many years which ones we prefer, continue feeding the same brand of puppy food until 6 months old, then switch to adult.

Below are the foods, supplies and toys we recommend, plus important safety notes. Always feel free to contact us with questions.

Food We Recommend +
  • Fromm Puppy (blue or pink bag by puppy size), available on Amazon and Pet Flow. Adult Fromm is good too.
  • 4Health (Tractor Supply), we like their canned puppy food and dry puppy & adult food.
  • Young puppies can get diarrhea on Blue dry puppy food, so we use 4Health Puppy or Fromm Puppy. Blue adult can be introduced around 5–6 months.
  • The first ingredient should be chicken or beef, not grain such as corn or wheat. Avoid corn (allergies/skin issues) and avoid foods with "meal" or chicken/beef "by-products."

Healthy treats (from 4–6 months): a few blueberries, bite-size apple, cantaloupe, cherry tomatoes, lightly cooked broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, shredded raw red cabbage, raw parsley (great for gums and breath). No citrus, it causes diarrhea.

⚠ Toxic Foods to Avoid +

These can be life-threatening and may require an emergency vet visit:

  • Chocolate, grapes, raisins, apple seeds, apricot & cherry pits, avocado
  • Chives, onions, garlic, coffee, mushrooms, moldy foods
  • Macadamia nuts, walnuts, pokeweed (any part)
  • Artificial sweeteners, erythritol, xylitol, mannitol, Swerve, aspartame, saccharin
  • Be careful with plants such as philodendron and fresh mistletoe
Supplies We Recommend +
  • Heartworm prevention, Heartgard or Interceptor (we'll discuss the safest option).
  • DocRoy's GI Synbiotics / Probiotics, Revival Animal Health or Amazon.
  • Slicker brush, Amazon, Tractor Supply, Menards, Rural King.
  • Shampoo, "No Tears" when very young; Mane 'n Tail or another gentle brand.
  • Medium/large carrier for pickup (airlines have specific requirements).
  • Large crate with divider for home; a Snuggle Puppy, both on Amazon & Chewy.
Toys, What to Choose & Avoid +
  • Do not buy toys made in China, different safety standards; toxic plastics/paints have caused kidney and liver disease. Read labels carefully; many Amazon listings are not U.S.-made.
  • Avoid squeakers (puppies can chew them out and choke), button/sewn-on eyes and noses and smooth grooveless balls that can lodge in the throat.
  • Nylabone (U.S.-made) has great designs, avoid the chewy type that can break off.
  • Benebone, we prefer the "Y" shape; they last a long time. This is the only chew our puppies have when we're not home, to avoid choking. Always read owner reviews.
  • Choose sturdy stuffed toys with nothing a puppy can chew off.

🐾Pickup Day

Puppies can go home at eight weeks old or soon after. Your puppy goes home with their mother's scented blanket, a 1-year genetic health guarantee & puppy contract, health record, a copy of the vet health certificate, first set of shots, up-to-date dewormings and microchip.

Schedule a vet visit within seven days. Until vaccines are complete (after 18 weeks) or your vet gives the okay, stay away from pet stores, public potty areas and dog parks. For the ride home, bring paper towels, a small bottle of soapy water, a blanket and ideally a well-padded medium carrier with a crate pad.
